Over the past couple of days I have picked a few things up. First I went to Ulta looking for the new Real Techniques brushes. And I was lucky to find the two that I had been looking for. Then I went to CVS this afternoon and stumbled upon a few things that I have been wanting to try.
- Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain, I got the color Honey. I have heard so much about this color from Essie Button. I put it on as soon as I got in the car and I really liked the color. It really is the perfect your lips but better color.
- Maybelline Brow Drama, I picked this up in Deep Brown. After trying it for the past couple of days the brush is a little annoying. It should really be half the size it is. However, the product on the brush works pretty well. It has a nice tint to it and keeps my brows in place.
- Real Techniques Bold Metals brushes in 200 Oval Shadow and 201 Pointed Crease Brush, These brushes are beautiful. I wish the eyeshadow brushes were in the gold or rose gold. I have only used these both once. From that one try the 200 Oval Shadow brush did really well to help blend out my eyeshadow. Then the 201 Pointed Crease brush helped with doing my outer corner.
Another Afterlight photograph for today. I really like this app so far! I just got another box of the FB-3000 film for my Land Cameras today. I have another box of FP-100 coming for my stock pile.
Enjoyed playing around with the Afterlight app today. This is some awesome bleacher style seating at a coffee shop in Woodstock, Ga called Copper Coin.
Had a hard time picking a photo today. Thought I would share my favorites. We have a bunch of bushes flowering right now. They are beautiful. I might offer prints of these photographs. If you are interested please tell me. Also I'd love to hear what your favorite is.
Hello! I hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. With the beginning of a new year the idea of a new photography project has come to mind. Last year my project 52 was put on hold when I started a new job and got my own place. Life happened and I had a lot of changes over the last year. Needlessly to say I did not finish the 52 week project. This year I really want to put a lot more effort into working with my camera and doing more of what I love. My goal is to post a photo a day for the next year. I want to realistic and I know not all of the photos will be from my DSLR as much as I hope some will be from my iphone. (Upgrade to the Iphone 6 coming soon!! woot woot!) Also there will be times that I post all of the photos for a week in one post instead of one each day. I have seen a few people do this with their 365 projects and I believe it will help me in mine. With all of that said now I hope you enjoy my photographs!
