Happy New Year!!! I am beginning this new year with a new 365 Photograph a day project. I believe that this year will be the year I can accomplish this without fail. Also I turn 25 this year and feel that I should at least be able to fully accomplish something I have set my mind too by now.
A little context for this photograph. We actually ventured out on New Year's Eve last night. Normally Steve and I chill out on the couch and watch the ball drop in New York on TV. This year the city we live in decided to hold all sorts of holiday activities including a New Year's Eve "ball" drop. So we went and ate at WR Social House for dinner. I highly suggest this restaurant to anyone who finds themselves in Marietta, GA. I love it. Especially their hot fried chicken and ever changing $5 daily punch. Yummmm. We also got to see a free concert The Whiskey Gentry. They happen to be a local band and were a treat to see. The city kept what was being dropped at midnight a secret and had it hidden by a large box that was hoisted up by a small crane. At midnight we found out that there was a man in gold lame pants who danced while being dropped down. A bit odd but a NYE that we will never forget.
